Since Windows Phone and Lumia both disappeared from the public eye, Microsoft has been rumored to be launching the Surface Duo Phone. According to a tech blog on August 13, Microsoft’s new dual-screen smartphone, the Surface Duo, released on September 10, 2020.

According to the report, the $1,399 Surface Duo phone comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor, 6GB of RAM, and up to 256GB of storage. The device will also have two 5.6-inch AMOLED screens and provide biometrics through a fingerprint reader. The Surface Duo supports multitasking. You can run different apps on two screens, and the Surface stylus can be used to improve efficiency. In addition, the Surface Duo will be equipped with an 11-megapixel camera and a 3577mah battery. It’s worth noting that the phone runs on The Android operating system. The Surface Duo doesn’t support 5G networks, and its Snapdragon 855 processor isn’t currently considered robust.

The phone, which will be available through Microsoft Store and other outlets on Sept. 10, runs on wireless networks offered by CARRIERS such as AT&T, T-Mobile, and Verizon and supports two calling CARDS, eSIM, and Nano-SIM. The 11-megapixel camera above the display on its right side is capable of recording 4K video, and the camera app USES artificial intelligence to optimize photos.

“As we look ahead to the next wave of mobile productivity and creativity, we see the same opportunities to create new things with the Surface Duo,” said Panos Panay, Microsoft’s chief product officer. Not reinventing the phone, but motivating people to rethink how they want to move electronic devices in their hands. The Surface Duo, available for pre-order in the United States today, integrates the power of Microsoft 365 and the full Android mobile application system into a two-screen device that you can carry around and use anywhere.”
