Chinese tech giant Honor has begun implementing new SpO2 features for its Indian Honor Band 5i users. The update is currently released wirelessly and is one of the most anticipated updates for many users.
As the company explains, SpO2 is a feature that tracks blood oxygen saturation levels, so users can assess their body’s ability to adapt during exercise or at high altitudes. By adding the SpO2 functionality, HONOR Band 5i allows users to access and use various fitness and health functions.
In addition to the SpO2 function, Honor Band 5i also has many interesting features.
Honor Band 5i brings a 0.96 inch full color touch screen with HD resolution. It also supports watch faces, which can be downloaded from the HONOR watch store. The Band 5i also has a convenient USB charging slot, which is hidden by a removable wristband. It also supports 24×7 heart rate monitoring and intelligent sleep monitoring.
In addition to the 5ATM water resistance (up to 50M), the band can recognize 9 different fitness modes that include walking outdoors and indoors, running and cycling, rowing, elliptical machines and free training. Other smart assistant features available in the band include music controls, camera remote controls, phone search, call notifications, messages and event reminders and stopwatches.
With a single charge, the band’s battery is ready for 7 days and can be easily charged via a USB connection on a laptop, power bank or any other device with a USB charging option.
Currently, the Honor Band 5i is available in three colors (black, pink and green). It can be purchased through Amazon for Rs 1.899. In terms of price, Honor Band 5i is one of the most expensive fitness wearables in the country and also comes with a bag full of interesting features.
