We all need a flashlight in case of emergency. Like light out, car tire blowout, hiking in the mountain etc.
Choosing a right flashlight will help you out in face of those situations.

size and weight

distance and intensity of the light source
If you are a huge fan of outdoor sport,it would be necessary for you to choose a proper flashlight since the most common outdoor activity should be walking on foot. If you have a torch that can light up a wide area, you will have a better vision of the circumstance. Which, will make the hiking more easy. Some people may worry about that it may be reduce the intensity of the flashlight if the torchlight with long distance function. The materials used
The service life of torch is very important factor to be considered. Usually the LED flashlights have longer service life compare with other bulbs.Also it is more efficiency. The chip of the flashlight is crucial in judging the quality of torch. The Cree chip is the best in torch industry. I will recommend you buy a Cree LED flashlight in consider of saving money.
There are also some factors that people may consider about, such as waterproof function and antiknock function. But for daily use, I think what I listed above is enough for daily use. Therefore,just be sure about what kind of torch is suitable for you and buy the right one.

I seen a couple of subotpics within that link, there was a particular topic that caught my interest, tell me something(and I ask this because I don’t know SQUAT about lasers) does the Aixiz 405 lens complement the latest generation of S3 Arctic Series, and is there a lens that out performs the 405-G1 model in regards to super tight beam focus? which one do you prefer to use any way?
