The Zeblaze Vibe 3 is not what I usually call a “smart watch”, but an old-fashioned vintage sports watch with extra intelligence. This is not a bad thing, because you will learn throughout the review process because it minimizes battery usage and achieves incredible autonomy.
When it comes to design, there is really nothing to say. Most people can use one of these plastic/stainless steel sports watches in their lives, so you can understand how it looks and feels. The only thing I can point out is that it’s thicker than normal, but it’s common in all “smart” watches, you have to put the chip and sensor somewhere! The case itself is also made of high quality 316L stainless steel with a porous carbon coating and a 50mm sphere size. At the same time, we found Corning Gorilla Glass 4 at the top to protect the screen. The real selling point of this watch is its durability.
Another interesting aspect of the Zeblaze Vibe 3 review is the screen and clock display. The Vibe 3 screen is much larger than its predecessors. Pack a large 1.24-inch FSTN screen to make it look like an old sports watch. As mentioned earlier, the bezel of the watch is reduced to only 8 mm and the size is larger, which is a full view display. The best part is a retro screen with FSTN technology for the best view in the sun. This has a positive aspect: it allows the watch to be visible outside.
Regarding the usability of colors, watches come in three colors: black, blue and burgundy. On the side, we have four buttons made of metal that we press effortlessly. The text is written on the bezel near each button. Unfortunately, this text may be confusing to the user because it is only intended to reflect the design of the sports watch, not the design of the smart watch.
As a very basic smart watch, the Zeblaze Vibe 3 doesn’t have much functionality, but I think enough athletes only need one device to receive notifications according to their steps. Vibe 3’s built-in steps, calories and walking distance are very good. If you connect it to your smartphone via the Bluetooth 4.0 module, you can also receive notifications from various applications, phones and messages. In addition, the watch can be used to set the alarm and remote shutter button on the camera.
If we have to choose the best features of Vibe 3, then it is definitely your battery. With its low-power display and 610 mAh high-capacity battery, the watch can run for 24 months under normal battery life and up to 33 months if used in energy-saving mode. This is one of the watches that do not need to be charged every two days. Well, actually, you can’t charge this watch because there is no power plug. The battery was replaced by an old-fashioned way to a watch store and spent a few dollars or less.
This software is an affordable smart watch that can usually be found. This is very basic but it works; it will connect via Bluetooth at the beginning, but it will manage it. The app displays all the data sent from the clock, from step to distance and burning calories. The statistics will be tracked for at least one month. Once paired with the watch, the app can send notifications of incoming calls and messages, as well as notifications for QQ, WeChat and other applications. Almost anything you can ask for.
